welcome to our school!

The Zoo Magnet Center is a small high school magnet program in Griffith Park.  A satellite magnet of North Hollywood High School, the Zoo Magnet provides approximately 300 LAUSD students from across the city unique educational opportunities.  The challenging college preparatory experience is focused on animal studies and biological sciences.

Our classrooms open out on a living laboratory that includes the L.A. Zoo and Botanical Gardens, L.A. River ecosystem, Autry National Center and the natural world of Griffith Park. The human scale of the Zoo Magnet campus supports an inclusive school community where students and teachers learn together and no one is lost in the crowd.

Senior Projects
The 2015 Senior Project presentations will take place at the Zoo Magnet on Friday, April 24 at 1 p.m. (with a flexible end time around 4pm).  All senior parents are welcome.

The 2015 Graduation Ceremony will take place on June 5th at North Hollywood High School.  More details to come as they become available.
